1. Visit the NICOLA website at https://nicola.qub.ac.uk/sites/NICOLA/InformationforResearchers/#requesting-access-to-nicola-data-or-biological-samples-910951-1. Follow the provided guide to access NICOLA data or biological samples. You will need to fill out the Research Proposal Form and submit it to nicola-research@qub.ac.uk. Make sure to take note of the proposal submission deadline for each Data Access Committee meeting.

2. Please be aware of the dates of the Data Access Committee meetings and deadlines for submitting research proposals. You should expect to receive a response regarding the outcome of your proposal to advise you whether or not your proposal has been approved.

3. After your proposal has been approved, you will have the access to the NICOLA data.
