Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe

The Survey of Health, Ageing, and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) is a longitudinal survey of more than 45,000 individuals in fourteen nations: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. The survey was first conducted in 2004 and has been conducted biennially since then. Data include health, psychological, economic, and social-support variables, as well as biomarkers and health anchoring vignettes.
